Chudo-Yolka Action.December 2005. Alumni initiated the participation of "Podrostok" orphanage in the New Year Action. Chudo Yolka project was held by the charity funds and organizations of Volgograd for the 4th time in a row. Volgograd alumni volunteered to participate in raising funds to buy presents for the children from "Podrosotok" orphanage. Children wrote the letters to Father Frost, and had their pictures taken by alumni. All that served as the decorations of the Xmas tree at one of the trading centers of Volgograd. Clients of the center were buying children presents or donating money. As a result about 18 thousand rubles were collected. "Podrosrok" orphanage had never participated in that action before alumni made an agreement with the organizers of the action for it to be involved.

Thanksgiving party: November 2005. The members of the English club (people come there to practice English and communicate on the different matters)were invited to the Charity Thanksgiving Party. All the guests were asked to bring presents for the children from "Podrosotok" orphanage. Magic markers, coloring books, toys, snacks, all kinds of small but nice things were collected for the children.
Participants of the event were forced to play games by the evil Natalia Bochkareva: the contests included introducing oneself during eating (the fastest team got the prize) or drawing turkey and proving why it's better than the rival. All the pictures you can see here.
